Hearts in Motion: Where Dance Meets Joy and Magic

As soon as you step into Hearts in Motion, you'll be surrounded by the magic of dance. Our studio is dedicated to providing a welcoming environment where students of all ages and skill levels can come together to enjoy the art of dance. From our humble beginnings to our current status as a thriving dance community, we're proud to have been serving the Chicago/Northwest Indiana service area for over a decade.

Our journey began in 2010 with a simple goal: to create a dance studio that offers opportunities for all students to experience the joy of dance. We started small, offering drop-in classes on Saturdays and testing out our concept to see if it would take off. And take off it did! By December of 2010, we had a regular group of dance class attendees and were asked to perform at a Christmas Party hosted by Amway.

As we continued to grow, so did our programs and offerings. We moved into a larger facility on Plainfield in the summer of 2015, allowing us to expand our studio space and offer three dance rooms with professionally sprung dance floors. This enabled us to provide more opportunities for our students to grow and develop their skills.

Today, we offer a wide range of programs and activities, including local outreach activities in the Chicago/Northwest Indiana service area as well as national programs. Our qualified instructors are dedicated to ensuring that every student learns proper dance technique while having fun doing it.

Throughout the year, we present our year-end on-stage performances, giving your child a chance to experience the thrill of performing in front of an audience. Our programs are designed to be fun, fanciful, and magical, with something for every dancer and family.
